Pinky Bobbel — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Pinky Bobbel does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The app never sends your information anywhere.
Who is responsible
Pinky Bobbel is made and published by Jannes Boonstra, the Netherlands. If you have a question about this policy, write to pinkybobbel@gmail.com.
What is stored on your device
So the game can remember where you left off, a few settings are saved on your device only:
- your high score;
- which character skin you are wearing, and which ones you own;
- your music and sound effect volume.
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Purchases
The optional character skins are in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple. Payment happens in the App Store, not in the game: we never see or receive your name, your email address or your payment details. Apple tells the app only which skins you own, so it can unlock them.
"Restore purchases" asks Apple which skins are linked to your Apple Account and unlocks those again. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that exchange.
No tracking, no advertising
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software development kits. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not ask for permission to track you across other apps, and does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
Sharing your score
You can turn your high score into an image and share it. That image is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. You decide whether to send it anywhere, and to whom. The app does not upload it and keeps no copy.
Children
Pinky Bobbel is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it also collects none from children.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR give you the right to see, correct or delete the personal data an organisation holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. The settings stored on your device are under your own control: deleting the app removes them.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts doing something that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
